The mission of Kent Historical Society (KHS) is to collect, preserve, interpret and present the rich history of Kent, Connecticut and provides educational and research material to enrich the public understanding of Kent's artistic and cultural heritage. KHS owns and operates Seven Hearths Museum at 4 Studio Hill Road, Kent and the Skiff Mountain Schoolhouse. Programs for adults, families and children are offered throughout the year at Seven Hearths Museum, locations throughout Kent and at community-wide events. KHS offers award-winning exhibitions, school programs, workshops and summer camps. KHS is a donor-supported nonprofit organization and relies on the generosity of its members to sustain this important work.
