The Kent Historical Society History Book Club will have its next meeting Sunday, June 24 at 4 p.m. and the book is "Thy Children’s Children" by Diana Ross McCain.This book is a historical novel about the Lyman family, John and Hope Lyman, who began their life on a small Connecticut farm in 1741. The first five generations of Lyman men and women built and maintained a family homestead, facing challenges large and small, with courage and conviction.
Books may be purchased at the House of Books, which offers a 10 percent discount to book clubs.
